With the Ocean Dream cruise arrival from line Pullmantur shipping, API Vallarta operates as source and destination port; as domestic tourists can board and alight either at the port of Acapulco on Sunday and Puerto Vallarta on Friday and begin this way their tour by Mexican Pacific coasts. On the voyage Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Manzanillo and Cabo San Lucas ports are visited.

There are 13 confirmed arrivals on 2010, each one representing a big economic flow on the Vallarta community.

This July 9th the first arrival of the Ocean Dream Cruise was celebrated in Puerto Vallarta with an event attended by local dignitaries, state and federal, with the city Mayor, Mr. Ludwig Estrada speech, the under Secretary Alejandro Moreno and Pullmantur Mexico Director, Mr. Eduardo Barroso and state and local media. This event the traditional mariachi and the Fandango Show presentation was enjoyed. Attendees were able to board the cruiser, where the captain's plaques exchange took place and a typical Mexican food buffet was offered. During the night a dining sample was provided by the CANIRAC for cruise passengers to know some restaurants in Vallarta, again with the Fandango Show and the presence of the Municipal band. For the Dream Ocean departure there were fireworks, which caused great excitement among the passengers of the cruise and event attendees.
