The marina “Los Peines” docks were built in 1969. After 41 years of use, its useful life is exhausted and therefore their replacement was considered in advance, the replacement works are listed on the National Development Plan and naturally in the APIVAL 2010 Annual Work Program. This work will take place from August to December 2010 with authorized own founds for up to 21.47 million pesos.

A national competitive bidding was conducted, where "Marine and Villages Gran Turismo SA de CV" won a $ 17.59 million pesos contract. Upon completion of the works there will be 140 positions berth with floating dock for nautical tourism small boats.
